## Showcased demos
Great demos tend to be code-first, hands-on, and tightly focused on implementing real workflows with clear, reproducible steps. They present concrete architectures, live demonstrations, and practical takeaways that attendees can carry into their own projects, while staying within the 10–15 minute talk window and maintaining a no-slides format. To maximize impact, speakers should emphasize end-to-end processes, installation and setup details, and transparent discussion of challenges or tradeoffs. Demos that come across as marketing pitches, are overly dense without actionable specifics, or lack clear visuals tend to receive lower ratings. Strive for a balance of technical depth, reproducibility, and candid engineering insights to keep the audience engaged and able to translate the demo into their own work.
- Automating Browser Usage with AI: Generating Onboarding Guides with AI — Faizan Khan, Montreal. This highly-rated session focused on hands-on techniques for recording user flows and automatically generating up-to-date onboarding guides across tools like Browserbase and Browser Use. Audiences valued the ecosystem exploration and practical takeaways from experimenting with multiple AI-driven browser tools.
- AI-Powered Terminal Workflows: Integrating Gemini CLI with Jira MCP — Sabine, Montreal. The talk was described as an engaging demo with real interest in practical implementation, though attendees wished for more detail on how to install and set up Gemini CLI, highlighting the need for accessible, reproducible setup guidance.
- MCP Basics — Marc Garcia, Montreal. The content level and length were praised as excellent, with attendees requesting a better zoomed-in view to improve visibility during the talk, underscoring the importance of clear visuals for concise technical content.
- Building Agentic System using Solace Agent Mesh — Cyrus Mobini, Montreal. The concept was well-received for its technical substance, but feedback cautioned that content could feel vendor-centric and that attendees wanted more practical engineering feedback and discussion of real issues, indicating the value of grounded, concrete engineering dialogue within demos.
