Portland is one node in a worldwide, single-day hackathon. Same day, same clock, same challenge — just run locally in our own room.
What you're building: AI agents that generate interactive UI at runtime. Not chatbots spitting text. Agents that render real forms, dashboards, approval flows, and full mini-apps on the fly.
The stack is open. Pick your poison:
- A2UI (Google DeepMind's open protocol for agent-rendered UI)
- CopilotKit + AG-UI
- MCP Apps
- Any model provider you want — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, open weights. Your call.
How the day runs:
- 12:00 — Doors open, food, settle in
- 12:30 — Global kickoff video (~10 min, covers theme and stack)
- 12:40 — Team up (solo is fine too)
- 1:00 — Build
- 5:00 — Show and tell, 2–3 min per team, working code only
- 6:00 — Submit to the global platform, hang out
Sponsors confirmed so far: Google DeepMind, CopilotKit. More locking in weekly — API credits, tooling, and prizes included in the starter kit on event day. Global prize pool plus city-level awards in the works.
Who should come: Builders. Any level. Bring a laptop, a charger, and something you want to try. Beginners get paired with experienced folks during team formation — the starter kit has quickstart guides for everything.
Food, drinks, coffee all covered. Wifi and power at every seat.
