Telling Stories with Text-to-Video
Nick has been experimenting with telling real world stories using Generative AI tools like Veo3, Runway and Heygen. In this talk he runs through some of his successes - and some of the pitfalls he has discovered.

About Nick Skinner
Nick Skinner is a Bafta winning producer director who spent 20 years at the BBC, working on programmes ranging from Antiques Roadshow and Crimewatch to news, current affairs and history. He was also technical innovation lead for BBC Wales. He left five years ago and now runs a company making promotional and information videos for clients. He teaches at Cardiff University, where he has been exploring Generative AI and teaching on the AI and Digital Media Production MA course.

Klaire Tanner is the Founder and Creative Director of CreuTech, and AI Consultant for Cwmni Da. They explore AI in TV, creative projects, XR , and business, with a focus on ethical use, innovation and practical applications. They also run workshops to share knowledge and skills.
