Laser cutting is a powerful process used in Art and Engineering that can help you customize a wide range of materials. The first step in any laser cutting project is to know what you are trying to create. What size, material, quantity, look and feel are you after?
Level: Introduction
Materials: Student work from this class will be laser cut onto approx 3 inch toall x 4 inch wide, 1/4 inch thick clear acrylic design which will be available for pickup the following weekend. Notification for pickup will be made by email.
Ages: 13 - adult
Prerequisite: Registrants must have at least novice level experience using Adobe Illustrator.
Computers: Students may bring their own laptop with Adobe Illustrator installed. Otherwise, PVNet provides Windows based computers running the current version of Illustrator.
