Meet & Greet ~ Coffee Shop Community Room *Special focus on Grief for this event

Details

We've reserved the Community Room at the Brayton drive Kaladi Brothers Coffee Shop again for this event!

While this event is a repeat event, we do not repeat the exact topics or hands on material for each Meet & Greet - we do overlap the topics and tools so that everyone has a chance to experience them.

For most Meet & Greet Events you can expect topics such the 5 love languages, Non-violent Communication, neurodivergent differences within communications, self-awareness and regulation tools (to name a few).
We set the context for a chill environment to allow people to show up as themselves in. We have interactive tools, discussion prompts to pass around, as well as exercises and games to help get the brain and conversation flowing.
For the discussion part - expect a loosely structured conversation lead and mediated by Joni.

For this *March Meet & Greet event, one of the topics that will be covered directly is Grief, Despair and finding meaning to move forward after devastating events occur.

This is for participants 18+ *however the coffee shop is large and dependents are welcome to be setup nearby if needed!

COVID-19 safety measures

Event will be indoors
Hand sanitizer will be available at the table. People are welcome to wear masks indoors or not, personal preference and priority for one's safety is always respected in our group.
The event host is instituting the above safety measures for this event. Meetup is not responsible for ensuring, and will not independently verify, that these precautions are followed.
