​FIGHT CLUB CDMX PRESENTS: CRY ME A RIVER HIKE 🥾💧

​A medium-level hike to get your feet wet, your heart full, and your head clear.

​This one’s for the adventurers. The curious. The ones who want more than just another weekend in the city.

​We’re heading out to explore a hidden spot with a waterfall, river crossings, and a few climbs to make it interesting — no ropes, no gear, just you, some stones, and a solid crew.

📍 Location: Disclosed 48 hrs before (within 45–60 mins of CDMX)
🥾 Level: Medium – 6–7 hours, river crossings, uneven terrain

​🌿 WHAT’S THE PLAN?

​08:30 – 09:00 — Meet-up, coffee, and intros
09:00 – 14:00 — Hike time: think rivers, rocks, waterfalls & conversations
14:00 – 15:30 — Tacos, micheladas & the way back after that!
​This isn’t just a hike. It’s a small escape, a moving hangout with real people who love nature and good talk.

​👟 WHAT TO KNOW

• ​Sneakers? Only if they are for trekking or water proof. You’ll need hiking boots or waterproof shoes. The trail gets wet and rocky.
• ​Expect river crossings and stone climbs — nothing wild, but it’s not flat (max elevation within 6 hours is 600 m - pretty easy!)
• ​Check the weather. If Tlaloc (the rain god) wakes up cranky, you’ll want a jacket. The hike isn't moved or cancelled we always get 50-75 participants irrelevant of the weather!
• ​Dogs welcome if they’re up for a decent trek.
• ​Kids 16+ only — this one’s a bit more intense than our usual strolls.

​🧳 WHAT TO BRING

• ​Hiking boots / waterproof trail shoes (no usual sneakers!)
• ​1.5–2L water
• ​Sunblock, hat, sunglasses if we have predicted sun!
• ​A warm layer for the morning
• ​Snacks for the trail
• ​Cash to split car rides, parking and entrance fee (we pay your entrance at the bottom (last point of the trail)
• ​Good energy, good vibes, and a little adventurous spirit

​We’ll set up a WhatsApp group for carpooling and Uber-sharing like always — ride out with someone new.
