From AI Learner to AI Builder: Building Real-World AI Products
Details
This talk shares my journey from learning AI concepts to building and shipping real-world AI products across different domains. Through practical examples, I will demonstrate how I moved beyond experimentation and prototypes to create usable applications involving AI agents, retrieval, automation, marketing, project management, and industry-specific intelligence. The session will highlight selected products I have built, the problems they were designed to solve, the tools and approaches used, what worked, what failed, and the lessons learned along the way. The objective is to show that becoming an AI builder is not about mastering every technology first—it is about identifying meaningful problems, combining domain expertise with AI capabilities, iterating quickly, and continuously learning by building.
- Start with the problem, not the technology — strong AI products come from solving a clear real-world need, not from adding AI for its own sake.
- Build to learn — the fastest way to understand AI is by creating, testing, failing, iterating, and shipping real products.
- Domain expertise is a competitive advantage — combining industry knowledge with AI tools, agents, retrieval, and automation can create far more valuable solutions than technology alone
