I am so happy to welcome our friends from Opptly for a panel discussion this month. Jason Safley and Dale Propst from Opptly will be here to discuss their proprietary AI system, deplolying AI centered applications, and all the lessons learned along the way.

About our panel:
Jason Safley is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Opptly, a leading AI company renowned for its expertise in skills-based talent evaluation using their cutting-edge proprietary artificial intelligence technology. With over 20 years of distinguished experience in information technology, data science, and workforce solutions, Jason has architected and lead high performing teams responsible for the design, development, and deployment of some of the most innovative persona-based applications and data-driven solutions in the industry. Jason's technical career began as a systems analyst, where he honed his skills in analytics, software development, and system architecture. Over the years, he progressed through various technical and leadership roles, demonstrating an exceptional ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives and spearheading transformative projects that have consistently delivered measurable results. At Opptly, Jason is responsible for steering the company’s technology vision, from conceptualizing and implementing new software solutions to optimizing existing platforms for maximum efficiency and user experience. His expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics has been pivotal in advancing the company’s products and services, positioning them as AI technical leaders in the human capital industry.

Dale Propst serves as the Senior Director of Product Management Opptly with responsibility for the development and delivery of Opptly’s AI products and services. Prior to this, Dale was the Director of Global Data & Analytics at Magnit (formerly Geometric Results Inc.) from 2018 to June 2023. His responsibilities included leading the design, development and implementation of data and analytics products. Dale’s extensive experience in data and analytics and software product management spans more than 20 years and includes roles at Allegis Group as IS Manager, Beeline as Product Manager/Owner, and Alexus International as Software Product Manager. Dale’s product management and delivery experience includes roles in the enterprise workforce management, services procurement and insurance and financial services industries.
