Description:
Welcome to the AI meetup in Delhi, in collaboration with TATA 1MG. Join us for deep dive tech talks on AI, GenAI, LLMs and machine learning, hands-on experiences on code labs, workshops, and networking with speakers and fellow developers.
Agenda:
- * 10:00am~10:30am: Checkin
- * 10:30am~10:45am: Welcome and Intro
- * 10:45am~12:00pm: Tech talks and hands-on workshop
- * 12:00pm~1:00pm: Networking and Food
Tech Talk 1: Intro to the Tech Behind GenAI
Speaker: Gaurav Talebailkar (Tata 1mg)
Abstract: This workshop offers a concise introduction to the core concepts behind Generative AI, including transformers, attention mechanisms, and tokenization. We'll explore their applications in vision and language, and how they power multi-modal models. The session will cover fine-tuning techniques like LoRA, along with the basics of Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and the steps involved in adapting them for specific tasks. Designed to balance theory and practice, this workshop equips participants with essential knowledge to work with modern AI systems.
Tech Talk 2: AI Coding agents
Speaker: Vishal Khare/ Vijay Saini (Tata 1mg)
Abstract: AI-powered tools are rapidly becoming part of the modern developer toolkit. But what does it take to design an AI that developers actually want to work with? This talk explores key principles in building effective coding agents—from trust and explainability to seamless tool integration and customizable workflows. Whether you're a builder or a user, you’ll gain insight into how AI can enhance—not replace—developer productivity.participants with essential knowledge to work with modern AI systems.
Workshop: Calories Calculator and VtoV Chatbot
Speaker: Stuti Pasricha (Tata 1mg)
Abstract: Food, voice, and intelligent models converge in this hands-on workshop. First, we’ll build a multimodal calorie calculator: upload a plate photo, let a vision-enabled LLM identify each food item, and instantly return nutritional values and total calories. Next, we’ll craft a voice-to-voice chatbot that runs entirely in the browser via WebRTC, streaming audio to an LLM, generating spoken responses in real time. You’ll leave with two deployable prototypes and the skills to extend them into full-scale applications.
