What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested in airsoft above the age of 18. The group is intended for mature adults who can work together and follow the honor code of airsoft. We typically meet once to twice a month and we are open to suggestions for fields within 50 miles. Newbies and veterans are all welcome, we just want to have a good time shooting each other with plastic pellets. Please don't confuse airsoft with "air guns" or "BB guns," that shoot metal pellets or BBs.

If you are new to the sport and would like to borrow gear and/or guns (or would like recommendations about what to buy) please let us know on the event page and we will be happy to help. New players should also refer to the the Comprehensive Airsoft Guide (2017) (http://airsoftpal.com/airsoft-guide/), somewhat outdated Reddit Guide (https://www.reddit.com/r/airsoft/wiki/index), my Simple Buying Guide (https://www.meetup.com/airsofting-18-only/pages/23631177/Beginner%27s_Guide_to_Buying_an_Airsoft_Gun) and general Safety Guide (http://www.eliteforceairsoft.com/airsoft-safety/).

By joining this group YOU are responsible for your own safety and equipment. Please be aware that if you cannot handle your anger this game is NOT for you. This game involves people shooting you from a multitude of ranges. Please be respectful to your enemies and comrades at all times. Even if they are cheating, overshooting, or shooting too close, be respectful and talk to the referee about it, that's what they are there for! Airsoft is a game of honor, so being honest and calling yourself out (raise your hand and yell "hit" when you are hit is what makes the game work. Failing to comply to this may result in grounds for a ban to all future and present events. We want a safe and peaceable community, not one prone to strife.

DON'T FORGET TO READ OUR PRIVATE EVENT RULES AND GUIDELINES: (https://www.meetup.com/airsofting-18-only/pages/23644376/Order_66_Rules_and_Guidelines/)

-------For players using PolarStar/HPA (High Pressured Air) systems --------

HPA systems are heavily regulated in our group. Please read our rules regarding HPA systems. (https://www.meetup.com/airsofting-18-only/messages/boards/thread/49504420)

Please keep in mind that our group consists of a lot of new players. We are here to introduce people to the sport and have as much fun as possible, not hose people down and earn killstreaks. If all this sounds like too much work, please do not bring an HPA system. If you have specific questions or comments regarding the rules, please message any of the organizers.

We understand if you can't make it to any of the events you've RSVPed due to work, personal, or emergency reasons. Please remember that members who RSVP and not show up without informing any organizers will be issued a verbal/email warning, and that repeat offenders will be banned from the group.
