AI agents are no longer big tech's exclusive territory — they're running virtually anywhere right now.
The conversation has shifted fast. OpenClaw took off as the community's go-to local agent framework: raw, flexible, and genuinely powerful. Then NVIDIA dropped NemoClaw at GTC 2026 — an open-source enterprise layer that sits on top of OpenClaw and adds the security and policy controls that actually get things past your IT department. Two tools, same foundation, very different philosophies.
In Part 1 of this series, we go hands-on. We'll walk you through installing both frameworks, break down the "claw" ecosystem in plain terms, and help you figure out what fits your actual workflow. The community is also welcome to bring other frameworks to the table — this isn't a closed comparison.
What we won't do is make you self-host a 600B model. Most of the hardware for that is out of reach anyway, Yo will leave knowing how to connect these agents to the API providers you already use. We'll show you exactly that.
Whether you're a developer looking to automate your pipeline or someone who's just tired of doing things manually that a machine could handle — bring your laptop and show up.
