Can You See Me Now?

This presentation is open for members and non-members, faculty, staff, and students.

ABSTRACT
Everyone knows LinkedIn is the place to be if you are looking for work, or looking for clients. Being on LinkedIn, however, isn’t enough to get found. You also have to make sure that others can find you, by having the right kind of content and the right settings for others to see that content. Tonight’s presentation will cover those things you can do to make yourself visible to those who can use your services.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Gary Schall spent 21 years with a software company helping the newspaper industry. He handled IT tech questions, then transitioned into programming, and finally ending up as a project lead, helping clients identify their true needs and assess how best to address them. He started his own company in 2013 and now does the same thing for LinkedIn. He assists people and businesses spruce up their LinkedIn profiles to help them get noticed. His LinkedIn workshops cover everything from setting up a complete profile to staying active on LinkedIn to get the best placement possible in LinkedIn searches. He also offers individual profile reviews for more detailed and specific guidance. He has published a book on LinkedIn, and has been a long time member of LVP, having served as both the Marketing Chair and Executive Chair of the organization.

We will be meeting in-person. We are experiencing difficulties with the MeetUp payment plan. As such, if you are planning to join us for the in-person optional networking dinner at 6 PM, there is a $20 fee via cash or check at the door. If you are not planning for dinner, please join us at 7 p.m. complimentary presentation (in-person or online).
