Elon Musk - Disrupter of every industry he touches

This presentation is open for members and non-members, faculty, staff, and students.

ABSTRACT:
We will review the impacts of many of Elon’s technological innovations including Space, Transportation, Insurance, Communications, AI, Robotics, Energy and Ecology. We will also discuss innovative enhancements included Tesla’s Cyber Truck. Particular emphasis will be placed on his AI philosophies.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Bob Lawhorn is a Futurist who focuses on the impact of exponential change and technological disruption. Bob has had a 50 year career in computer science, including twenty years at Bethlehem Steel and another 20 as CTO of CAI.

He now serves as an instructor of Future Technologies at the Lehigh Valley Institute For Learning In Retirement at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA.

Bob's classes focus on the coming revolution in human longevity and the social, financial and economic impacts of technology disruption.

Disclosure: Bob is a stockholder in Tesla and an owner of a Model Y Tesla.
