Tech Talk: The power of low latency data for AI apps
Speaker: Cole Bowden (Firebolt)
Abstract: RAG has transformed AI applications by grounding responses with external data. It can be better. By pairing RAG with low latency SQL analytics, you can enrich responses with instant insights, leading to a more interactive and insightful user experience with fresh, data-driven intelligence. In this talk, we’ll demo how low latency SQL combined with an AI application can deliver speed, accuracy, and trust.

Tech Talk: Evaluating LLMs: Adding Insight and Confidence to your Model Evaluations
Speaker: Micaela Kaplan (HumanSignal)
Abstract: LLMs have changed the way we look at model performance, but how can you be sure that your model is behaving the way you want it to? Without clean metrics, there’s no way to ensure that your LLM, or LLM-as-a-Judge, is accurately doing the tasks you’re asking of it. In this talk, I’ll explain why it’s important, especially for LLM-as-a-Judge, to get clean performance metrics you can trust, and show you how easy it is to get those metrics in a tool like Label Studio, an open-source tool for data labeling.
