Tech Talk: From Playbook to Production: Scoring Big with Gemma 4's Reasoning and Structured Outputs
Speaker: Joseph Lust (mabl, Google Developer Expert)
Abstract: LLMs are evolving from chat companions to autonomous data agents. In this session, Google Developer Expert Dr. Jessica M. Rudd showcases the architectural power of Google’s Gemma 4 family. Discover how to leverage native "Thinking Modes" for complex planning and "Structured Outputs" to guarantee predictable payloads. We will contrast managed cloud APIs against zero-egress VPC subnet hosting (Ollama/vLLM) and run a live, interactive 2026 World Cup penalty shootout demo with custom scenarios suggested by the audience. Come learn how to build production-grade, offline-capable AI pipelines that score every time!
Tech Talk: Can We Rebuild AI's Source of Truth?
Speaker: Dr. Chris Geyer, Founder & CEO, T-Reqs
Abstract: Modern AI systems are built from code, datasets, pre-trained models, packages, cloud storage, and infrastructure—but unlike software, they often lose the history of how they came to be. This talk explores why today's MLOps tooling struggles to provide a single source of truth, introduces two simple systems primitives that can make lineage automatic and objective again, and gives a demo of how runtime observation can capture provenance without code changes or infrastructure lock-in. Talk is for all those building AI systems.
Tech Talk: How AI Agent Memory Works
Speaker: Andrei Radulescu-Banu (Analytiq Hub)
