Who are we and what is our purpose? - The International Ajax Fan Club
Hi everyone! Join the International Ajax's Fan Club for a lively football watch party and support Ajax Amsterdam! Our purpose is simple: to bring international residents and local Dutch fans together to watch Ajax away games, creating a friendly community of passionate fans.
Location - Where to find us?
Join us at the famous Bar Shaffy, a lovely spot and great Dutch bar right next to the Vijzelgracht metro station. Just walk in, grab a drink, meet fellow expats, and make new friends while cheering on Ajax! This is your ultimate away-day experience and a great chance to socialize with local fans. We're excited to watch the season's first major clash with you: PSV Eindhoven vs. Ajax Amsterdam! The bar is right next to the Vijzelgracht metro station.

- 1:30 PM: Meet and Greet @ Bar Shaffy
Arrive at Bar Shaffy. Your host, a local Ajax fan, will welcome you and he will be wearing a white-red-white Ajax Jersey. Grab a drink, find a good spot, and introduce yourself to other members in the meantime.
- 2:30 PM: Kick-off!
The match between Ajax and PSV begins. We'll be fully focused on the action, cheering on the boys and soaking up the atmosphere.
3:15 PM: Half-time Analysis & Mingling

This is your chance to grab a refill and discuss the first half with fellow fans. Your host will share insights on the game and what to expect in the second half.

We'll be back in our seats, ready to go for the final 45 minutes of the match.
4:15 PM: Full-time & Post-match Discussion + Group pictures!
Whether it's a win or a loss, we'll stick around to analyze the game, share our thoughts, and get to know each other better. We finish the watching experience by taking a group picture all together!
What do I need to bring?
- Enthusiasm! Your passion for the game is the most important thing.
- Come with a good attitude! Our goal is to create a welcoming environment for everyone.
- A form of payment. Bar Shaffy has a wide selection of drinks. Grabbing a few drinks at the bar is a great way to support the bar that will host us.
Fun Fact: PSV Eindhoven vs. Ajax Amsterdam is the first major clash of the 2025/2026 season, as they're the two best teams in the Eredivisie (though Ajax is obviously better! 😉). The last time Ajax played in Eindhoven, Ajax won with 0-2 !
