CALLING ALL PLANT PEOPLE OF ALASKA! 👩🏼🌾🪴🌿🌺🌷🥬🌱🫐
We are a community of horticulturists, houseplant enthusiasts, growers, gardeners, homesteaders, foragers and farmers based in Anchorage, Alaska. Together, we grow our skills through hands-on workshops and connect our community through engaging events so that we can all cultivate thriving local communities, abundant gardens and nourished lives.

- Community Building Events: Potlucks, plant & seed swaps, shop-a-longs, foraging trips, plant walkabouts, plant music meditations and garden parties
- Hands-On Workshops: On topics like houseplant care, propagation, diagnosing & treating plant problems, organic gardening, sustainability, pollinators, floral design, garden planning, plant shopping, foraging, flower pressing, plant crafts and more!

Need plant care advice or plant help today? Join *PLANT J🌞Y CLUB *hosted by horticulturist & master gardener, Shii Kaina. The club is intend to help you solve your daily plant problems and tackle your plant tasks, through live accountability calls (plant-a-longs), hands on workshops, expert Q&A’s and so much more!
Shii also owns local business Among the Jungle, where she brings green joy to Anchorage through indoor + outdoor plantscaping services, preserved moss installations, private gardening and local workshops.

Learn how to grow happy Orchids!
Learn proper orchid care, blooming tips, root trimming and re-pot techniques! Each participant has the choice to bring an orchid of their own to the workshop OR receive a NEW lovely orchid at the workshop.This workshop is hosted by horticulturist, Shii Kaina, who has a wealth of plant knowledge and experience to share. She has a degree in plant science and has worked as a plantscaper, educator and horticulturist at botanical gardens around the country. With her guidance and expertise, you will leave this workshop with the confidence to grow happy orchids year-round.
