Why Auckland Council chose Enterprise Architect

Come along to the Auckland EA User Group for a presentation by Janet Wilkinson from Auckland Council. Janet will provide you with an overview of the Council's current challenge to consolidate. She will explain why there is a need for a central repository for architectural artifacts and delve into the high-level structure of their repository. She will also share Auckland Council's thought process behind choosing Sparx Systems' Enterprise Architect and talk you through examples of what they are starting to produce from the software.

Janet's has spent most of her career banking and insurance, with brief stints in the airline and oil industries. She now works at Auckland Council, (at Waitakere City Council which is part of the ‘Super City’). Janet moved into business analysis work and project management from a business space and has been involved in a number of core system implementations, as well as a number of mergers, most recently Auckland Council.
