How quickly it can deliver value, how easily it can be adopted, and how efficiently the repository of information can be investigated and maintained are all important factors when measuring the success of a programme.

Mark Ashcroft, an Enterprise Architect at Datacom Systems, will run you through the first four weeks of an enterprise architecture quick start project. Mark will show you the process, tricks along the way, where to source information fast, and how to get the right information. He will also explain the structure of the Enterprise Architect repository, key settings, document generation and a few other useful techniques.

Mark Ashcroft is an Enterprise Architect in the Application Management team at Datacom Systems, where he specialises in enterprise architecture, solution design, systems integration, and performance optimisation. He has worked across a broad spectrum of industries including; energy, health, agriculture, government, finance, insurance, and retail.

Prior to joining Datacom Systems, Mark was based in Singapore for five years, where he worked for the Energy Market Company (EMC). EMC is the operator of the wholesale electricity market in Singapore. While at EMC Mark led strategic planning, architecture and the implementation of bespoke and packaged business solutions.
