Lightning Talks and Chill at Nuevo

What does a beautiful night in June require besides hanging out with friends and talking tech? Tacos and tequila of course! Bring a friend and come join us at Nuevo Modern Mexican & Tequila Bar in Akron for tacos, tequila, and lightning talks!

What is a lightning talk?

A lightning talk it a short, 5-15 min talk that hyper focuses on a cool technology, product, or problem that you've recently come across and feel comfortable talking about. This is a GREAT way to dip your toes into public speaking with a low pressure, short talk to a local meetup group.

Here are the talks we already have scheduled:

• A brief overview of SSL and HTTPS - Nick Kinney

• Javascript animations using Greensock - Richie Kastl

• Why You Should Care About Bitcoin - Joe Duncko

• Interactive screencasts through Scrimba - Dave Kiss (Back from traveling for the past 6 months!)

Do you have a short talk that you'd like to give? Message me to get it on the schedule!

Important Note: Dinner and drinks will not be provided. Those costs will be the responsibility of our attendees. Nuevo is awesome, I promise it's worth it!
