Foodies and film lovers, in your 30s to 50s, come explore Alameda’s vast array of delightful restaurants or watch a film at the historic, art deco, Alameda Theatre. We alternate each month between a film and a new restaurant.
Casual Dining & Global Cuisine
We’ll savor cuisine from around the world including some of my favorite Alameda restaurants: Saltbreaker (New American), Spinning Bones (fusion rotisserie), and Chiang Mai Thai Noodle. We'll also explore great spots including Waki Japanese Cuisine, Speisekammer (German), and Moxie Steakhouse as well as new restaurants that open.
Generally, we stick to restaurants with 4-star Yelp reviews or higher.
You don’t have to live in Alameda to join.
So close your laptop, silence your smartphone, and come meet some new people!

Ready to make the most of a perfect summer evening? We’ve got your Saturday night covered—dinner, drinks, and an (optional) movie, at Alameda Theatre! The film will be announced when the theater releases its schedule the week of the event.
Whether you're all about cinema, craft cocktails, or just enjoying a relaxed vibe in a casual social setting, this evening is a perfect way to unwind. We'll meet at Cinema Grill, right next to the Alameda Theatre.

New to the Bay Area or a long-time resident? We welcome all to join us for a fun evening of film, food, and good company.Before the movie starts we'll meet outside on the patio, at Cinema Grill, and you'll have a chance to order food and drinks, and purchase your ticket!
Additional Info:
- Please close out your tab as soon as you order. Cinema Grill processes one bill at a time so you may miss the beginning of the movie if you close your tab out just before the film.
- You may order food at Cinema Grill and have it delivered to your seat if you have a reserved seat.
