Pickleball 101 - Intro Class at the HUB (Saturday)

IMPORTANT NOTE: This FREE Intro Class will be at the HUB in Alameda. The HUB is a 15-court pickleball complex located at Alameda Point. Registration will need to be processed through the HUB website (link below). WEBSITE REGISTRATION REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE CLASS, NO DROP-INS ACCEPTED. Rain may cancel this event.

Click on Full Calendar. Choose the date of the class. Look for Pickleball 101 Intro Class and click on Book. Confirm the class date and time. Click Next. Click Create Profile and enter your data. You should receive a class registration confirmation.

Come and learn the basics of the fun sport Pickleball. During this 1-hour class, we will get you started with getting acquainted with the paddle and ball. Hit some dinks, volleys, groundstrokes and serves. Then, do a couple of practice games to go over court positioning, scoring, game rules and some basic strategies.

Equipment available if needed. Wear tennis shoes. Bring water. Also, bring sunglasses, hat and sunscreen, just in case we get assigned to the outdoor courts.
