San Diego, Beginner friendly 6v6 park or beach volleyball!

Our dear friend Bill has just moved to the San Diego and looking to start playing volleyball again!

Back story: this beginner friendly 6v6 social volleyball club started in the Bay Area 15 years ago and has been going strong through numerous organizers and friends, we are hoping to continue this tradition for our friend down in San Diego!

We will have one net to begin but bringing volleyballs, extra nets and outdoor gear, drinks and snacks is always appreciated!

***No requirement to bring anything but please at the very least bring a good attitude and a welcoming and accepting behavior of beginner/newcomer players.

Organizers reserve the right to remove players from the court and meetup at their discretion.

Just a few things to note in case you forgot or are new to the group:

- We advertise as a volleyball social, this means that while the games should be relatively competitive and follow basic volleyball rules, we're looking to be welcoming and friendly with one another, accept new and beginning players, and most importantly: have a good time.

- Our volleyball games follow basic volleyball rules and thus, the games should always be in the format of bump-set-spike. The majority of the players are beginner to intermediate level. If you consider yourself more advanced, please consider the skill levels of fellow players before signing up.

- The volleyball games are jump-in/jump-out, there are no set teams. Organizers reserve the right to remove players who are playing consecutive games while newcomers are waiting.

- This volleyball meetup is solely run by volunteer players. While we don't look for financial help to keep the meetups going, we actively encourage returning players and members to help contribute to the success of these meetups by providing either non-volleyball equipment (such as tables, chairs, beach towels, etc.) or bringing beers and snacks to share. Newcomers are not expected to bring or contribute anything, but encouraged to do so if compelled.

- As a volleyball meetup in a public area and members attending assume full liability for anything that happens within the park as well as full liability for any guests they bring.

- The organizers strive for safety and a welcoming environment, please report any behavior that is against this policy to the organizers.

*Please note that underage players will not be allowed to participate in this meetup.
