Taco Tuesday Open Source Builder Nights: OpenClaw Demo
Details
San Antonio's tech community has been busy all month, and we're closing out AI April with a collaboration between Alamo Tech Collective and Geeks && {...} at The Hackerspace. This special edition of our monthly Taco Tuesday Builder Night zeroes in on how AI tools are reshaping how we code, ship, and handle our daily work. Our guest speaker, Patrick Robinson, is back to demo OpenClaw, walking through how it fits into workflows and where it can genuinely save you time. Bring a laptop, a project you're poking at, and an appetite. We'll have tacos, open build time, spontaneous pairing, and a room full of SA devs and enthusiasts. This is also the perfect warm-up for the 2nd Annual AI April Showcase on May 2nd, a science-fair-style event where builders of all levels show off AI-powered projects, and attendees vote for the People's Choice Award. If you're already prepping a demo or just want to see what's possible, Builder Night is a great place to spark (or sharpen) what you bring. Heads up: we're also collecting non-perishable items for the San Antonio Food Bank, so toss something in the red bin on your way in. Whether you're AI-curious, AI-skeptical, or already shipping with it, come build with us and cap off AI April the ATC way.
This session is all about collaboration, progress, and shared problem-solving. Come with a project in mind or jump in with someone else’s.
