Details
After service on Sunday, September, stay for Libby's workshop:
Let's Talk: A Few Strategies for Talking with People with Whom you Disagree
In these polarizing times, how can we learn to engage in respectful discussions with people with whom we differ? How do we talk about critical issues like healthcare, education, immigration and climate change with those with different perspectives? Whether at the personal or political level, or between individuals or groups, it helps to have some tools to successfully navigate these charged conversations. Libby Roderick is a national expert in this field. This highly interactive hourlong workshop will offer a few strategies for effectively discussing challenging topics and the best approaches for engaging with people with whom we disagree. Join us!
