A 6-week introduction course, starting April 25th and running every Saturday through May 30th from 3 - 4:15pm, to cultivate peace & happiness within Facilitated by Claire Coppel: Claire is a 2nd year student of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) taught by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She is a nationally board certified health and wellness coach. Previously, she was a licensed orthopedic physical therapist for 28 years. This offering partially satisfies the practicum requirement for the MMTCP program.

What: This course is geared towards anyone with a desire to broaden their mindfulness meditation practice - beginners and experienced meditators alike.

In this course you will learn how to direct your attention in a deliberate manner:
* practice focusing on the present experience of your body, mind and emotions learn
* practices for letting go of difficult thoughts and emotions * build community with other like-minded individuals
* reduce anxiety and stress
* develop a greater presence in daily life
