The Historic Landscape of Vale Cemetery - Guided Tour

Paula Lemire, Vale Cemetery Historian will lead us on a this tour: "Drawing on the original 1857 map of Vale, we’ll explore some of the oldest areas of the Cemetery, including The Vale which gave us our name. From the Parting of The Ways and Consecration Grove to the memorial to soldiers of the Revolution and the very first burial, we’ll take a walk through Vale’s earliest years."
Paula is the former historian of Albany Rural Cemetery, she is a lifelong cemetery aficianado, having visited thousands of graves and monuments and written hundreds of articles and blog posts.
