"The next film to be shown on Sunday, June 8th, 7:00 pm, at the Steamer No. 10 Theatre in Albany is “The Seven Year Itch” (1955) Comedy, color, CC, 105 minutes.

A comedy starring Marilyn Monroe and Tom Ewell. When his family goes away for the summer, a hitherto faithful husband with an overactive imagination is tempted by a beautiful neighbor. Although Monroe was known for almost everything except being an actress, she did very well in four comedic roles, including this picture, “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”, “ How To Marry A Millionaire” and “Some Like It Hot”. In this film Ewell is funnier than she is but of course she steals the limelight whenever she is in front of the camera. Includes that famous subway grill scene.

Directed by Billy Wilder who also shares screenplay writing credit.
