Albemarle Writers Critique (#5)

The Albemarle Writers Critique (AWC) will bring together writers to critique submitted works of fiction including short stories, parts of novels and novellas, and screenplays (but not poetry). Memoirs will also be eligible for critique.

The meeting will be in person. In the event of inclement weather, the event may become virtual. Check back here but an update will be provided to RSVPed people.

We will anticipate monthly meetings depending on interest and available space.

Submission requirements:

• Up to 2,000 words will be accepted.
• 1.5 spacing.
• include line numbers
• Indicate the number of words on the manuscript's first page along with the name of the author.

We are accepting up to three manuscripts for the next meeting on June 2. Please contact me to let me know your interest. We'll critique for people attending the meeting. Manuscripts are due by May 28.

Due to space, the meeting is limited to first 12 people who RSVP. A wait list will be created for people above the 12.

Attendance policy:
Only RSVP if you fully expect to attend. If something comes up, please withdraw by 5pm the Friday before the meeting. You can do this by changing your RSVP. Two failures to change an RSVP or no shows may result in removal from group. Contact Ted R for special circumstances.
