Stoicism Alberta

Welcome to Stoicism Edmonton: the city’s premium meet-up for Stoic-minded individuals. While Stoicism flourished in Ancient Greece and Rome, its eminently practical philosophy remains highly relevant to our lives today. Join us in pubs, restaurants, and coffee shops across Edmonton while we study the great Stoics and learn to develop resiliency, tranquility, and contentment. We will have a variety of events including book clubs and guest speakers.
While COVID-19 is afoot, we are meeting online weekly every Sunday at 7pm.
We ask members to attend at least one event every three months to keep our community active. If a member does not attend within three months, we ask him or her to re-enter the group when he or she is able to attend more regularly.
