START POINT: St Albert Place Parking Lot, 5 St Anne St, St Albert. The parking lot is across the street from St. Albert Place and is quite large and busy. An alternative is to park by the Seniors Center and walk up Veterans Way to St Albert Place Parking Lot.
We will try and set up near the corner of St. Anne Street and the alley that runs behind Perron Street. As always, look for the yellow vests and open trunk.
DISTANCE: 5/5 km
RATING: 1B/2A
FEE: $2.00 for most walkers, except those on the Trekkers Frequent Walker Program or on their first 5 free walks.
REGISTRATION: 12:30 pm for a 1:00 pm start
TRAIL: These routes are both 5k and the 5k walkers can choose to do either route G or H while the 10km walkers will do both routes.
One route takes us along the Red Willow trail to the Grain Elevators and along to Lacombe Park lake then through the Mission area.
The other route takes us along the Red Willow trail by the Sturgeon river to Boudreau Bridge and back to St Albert Place on the other side of the river.
