A CELEBRATION OF ASTRONOMY AND SCIENCE!
FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

1:00-5:00pm - On Saturday, November 1st --the day after Halloween and the day before Daylight Saving Time ends--
The Albuquerque Astronomical Society and the Open Space Visitor Center collaborate to bring you an impressive array of outstanding exhibits by top astronomy and science groups and entities from our area spread throughout the extensive facility of the OSVC--and a few outside! Children's activities included. Generous parking, restrooms, water fountains

6:00-10:00pm - Following the exhibits, after a short break, a star party will begin with a presentation of the fall Fab Fifty at 6:30pm to show what you will be seeing through the large array of TAAS telescopes on the east patio, many types and sizes with answers to questions by the owners. Sunset is at 6:11pm; prime objects will be Moon (Waxing Gibbous), Saturn, Neptune and many deep sky beauties. A few other night attraction, such as a lens demonstration, will keep you busy all evening!
