Book Discussion: Candide by Voltaire

Location: Conchas Park, 2601 Conchas St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112

To bring: Candide book, cushion, lawn or portable chair

We will discuss the book on the grass under a shady tree. Look for the area close to the picnic tables on the south corner.
This will be our first book and hope it sets the tone. I will be using the translation by Theo Cuffe. Feel free to use another translation. This is one of the few books that maybe impossible to dislike.
Fine Print: please read the book in its entirety and bbbbe prepared to talk about it - this will be a discussion not a lecture. Feel free to bring a guest -- if guest has read the book and is willing to talk about it.
