About us
Do you want a deeper understanding of yourself? Less stress? Increased feelings of aliveness and awareness?
Come join us outside and engage in practices that aim to connect us more to Mother Earth and ourselves. Through a variety of art and nature-based mindfulness practices including forest bathing, meditation, poetry, and play, we will immerse ourselves in an environment conducive to health and well-being. We will rediscover the power of unplugging from our "modern" way of being and sink into a deeper presence and knowing.
Groups will involve self-reflection and an opportunity to enrich insights through optional sharing with others and group facilitators.
Each session will open with a check-in, deepen into presence through some type of meditation or movement, present a connective nature and art practice, and end with time to discuss our experiences.
All are welcome and this group will aim to be a safe and inclusive environment. Please join us for at least 3 sessions of the 4!
The group will be facilitated by Gareth Harrold and Abby Peterson, both art therapists in training.
