Details

For the June gathering, we will be discussing the question:

Is there a Common Good?

The Albuquerque Philosophy Collective fosters conversations outside of the academy about philosophical questions that arise in our everyday lives. Organized by two philosophers, Ty Camp (firefighter and MA in Philosophy) and Pierre-Julien Harter (Philosophy professor at UNM), who hope to grow philosophy outside of the academic world. Anybody interested in philosophical ideas or questions should attend regardless of their background or experience in philosophy. Our goal is to rekindle philosophy in the public sphere.

Please sign up and attend whether or not you are on the waiting list (the free version of Meetup only allows 10 people on the list). The room at Erna Fergusson holds up to 45 people.

Look forward to seeing you all there!
