What we’re about
This meetup is for people who want to watch a class for free to see if they wish to start taiji classes. .
This taiji class provides a foundation in the movements of taiji
(tai chi) and the intention behind the movements.
Beginners are guided to make accurate movements; internal refinement and the training of the mind are also taught right from the very beginning.
Students will learn the 5 Loosenings, Taiji Short Form, Push Hands fixed patterns and partner exercises, and meditation.
After completion of this introductory course, the Taiji Long Form is introduced.
We focus on quality over quantity and train the continuous refinement of these methods over time.
While health and martial ability are the side effects of proper training, the purpose of true taiji is internal evolution.
