Oh Yay! I have been waiting for this to open so we can try it out.
You may well know it as the Thorn Tree, but now it is the Cherrywood Smokehouse on the road through from Aldercar to Codnor.
This is a new venture in the area and is an English - Indian/Nepalese restaurant. They offer a "unique menu of grills, curries, and fusion dishes". This will be the first week of opening so be nice.....it might not be as slick as you like, but we will give it a try and a bit of moral support on their first week.
I have booked a table for 10 initially. This is on the main A610 so no direct bus route. Can catch the 34 towards Hucknall and get off at St Johns Church and its 25 minute walk from there or message for a car share from Langley Mill. Website and FB page links below.
