The International Green Tech concept. Build a beautiful place where researchers and innovators can indulge in green activities with their families. Inspire, brainstorm, innovate, create, promote, teach and help young people tool up to save planet Earth.
Alella Green Tech is the Barcelona charter of International Green Tech Foundation. Our mission is carry out practical R&D in water, soil and plant management using mostly advanced IOT/microcontroller and permaculture methodologies.
Alella Green Tech operates at the Can Picard farm & winery -- a 15-20 minutes bus ride from Barcelona - in the hills overlooking the ocean. Alella is small town known for its wine and soon for its technology!. There are about 2000 Panza Blanca grape vines , lots of fruit trees, woods and bare land where we intend to replant trees.
A huge field has been prepared for subdividing into micro plots for experimentation. Around it goes a kids 12v tractor/bicycle race track. There is a pizza & BBQ area, a kids and old timers grass playing field, an outdoor classroom, and a robotics lab, etc.

We regularly host school science days from around the world. Students see green tech and permaculture in action. We have hosted school field trips from Dubai, Italy, France, Spain, Jamaica, Canada, and more.
Attend our fun community events and meet other green thumbers and local families that come with their young scientists. Learn about irrigation, solar/wind/water power, microprocessors, valve control, robotics, gardening, local trees and plants. But also try our very own wine, produce planted by your students, and our memorable wood fire pizza.
Those with an interest for gardening/farming automation will get a kick out of our efforts to automate the water wells, irrigation, gardening, fermentation, security etc. We have an operating farming robot which schools can use both remotely and when they visit. Please ask about using it for your science workshops. Read more about it here.

Want to Help Save Earth?
Alella Green Tech is also looking for people that want to volunteer & help out and that want to put their knowledge and skill to good use. Spend time in clean air and destress with other lovers of the outdoors and nature. Typical work would be planting trees as per our rescuetrees.org mission to save abandoned trees, or working on green tech projects involving renewable energy.

HALLOWEEN PARTY 2025! Get Your BIG Pumpkin @ The SCARY Pumpkin Patch!
Alella, Ba, ESAFTER LAST YEAR'S HUGE SUCCESS WE HAD TO DO IT AGAIN!!
The 2025 Pumpkin Patch Party! Kids can come and pick their pumpkin and get expert instruction on how to carve it. Lots for adults to do and drink - our own vintage ´24 is available - so are lots of local vinos!

This year we're adding different food stations so that people won't have long to queue.
Kids play on the natural grass field, race our 12V tractors, etc. We also may open up our usual Alella Green Tech activities. See guidal.org!

Entrance cost: EUR 15/adults, 10 Eur for kids over 4 (@ 5 they can already drive the tractors and enjoy many activities). The entrance cost includes a food dish and a drink. Buy SCARES to use for all sorts of other food and beverages -- and to purchase your pumpkins!
Cash/Credit Card bar & Food Bar. Please do not bring own food or drinks - we have you covered!
