Introduction to Analogue (Film) Photography

Details
Join me for your first steps in analogue photography at Making Space, Havant.
During this 3 hour workshop you'll be guided through shooting and developing black and white film in a friendly and relaxed environment. Whether you're a photography newbie or a seasoned digital photographer you'll go home having experienced the unique joy that the analogue process delivers.
We'll meet at Staunton Country Park, where I'll get you set up with a 35mm SLR camera and a roll of film, then take a relaxed walk through the country park to take some photos. Don't worry if you've never used a camera with manual controls before, I'll be on hand to make sure you have the skills you need to get creative and produce some great photos.
Once you've shot your film we'll head back to Making Space, just a short drive away, where tea and coffee will be available. There I'll demonstrate how to load your film into a developing tank, develop, fix and wash your film to reveal your negatives.
After the workshop I will scan and convert your negatives, and send your positive images to you by email as well as sending your negatives back to you.
Included in the price is: use of a 35mm SLR camera, a roll of black and white film, all required development equipment and chemicals, and scanning of your negatives.
Please note that all participants must be 16+ years of age for this workshop.
