Special Kickoff Screening for the Alexandria Film Festival

Movie description:
At this critical time when key laws such as the Clean Water Act are being demolished, "Upstream, Downriver" showcases stories of action, resilience and hope, with real results. Over half of U.S. waterways are still dangerously polluted, especially in poorer communities facing crumbling infrastructure, rising waters and climate extremes. From Lowndes County, Alabama to New Orleans, the Navajo Nation, Los Angeles, Pacific Northwest, and more, communities are uniting in an urgent fight for clean water.
