Modern Square Dance in Alexandria

Have you ever tried Modern Square Dancing? If not, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. You WILL have fun! I don't know how many times people have left their first dance saying "I didn't know it would be so much fun!"

Besides the music (almost anything but old country banjos and fiddles!), it's just so much fun dancing in a group with 7 other people. Yes, each square is made up of 4 couples. But you don't have to come as a couple in order to join us - two people who come along make a couple! And it's just fine if two women dance together or two men dance together. Two people make a couple and that's the important thing.

As long as you know your right hand from your left and can count to 5, you'll do just fine! And "I have 2 left feet" is not an excuse not to try it. We don't care if you have 2 left feet - as long as you have a right and a left HAND!

Bring bottled water, wear comfy shoes, and dress in whatever you are comfortable. Then you'll be ready to join us!
