From Mainframes to Machine Learning: Lessons from 35 Years of Test Automation

Details
An interactive guided discussion of test automation past, present, and future. What can we learn from the past? What does it mean for the future? Will AI replace human testers?
Join us for a lively discussion that will examine past and current automation approaches (including those used at IBM, Google, and USPTO) to determine practical implications for functional testers over the next few years. The discussion will be led by David Isaac, a managing partner at Business Performance Systems. David will highlight some cool approaches to testing that show new promise given recent advances in machine learning, and discuss lessons-learned from a recent BPS research project on autonomous testing. He will also facilitate a discussion about the promise and pitfalls of emerging test languages, frameworks, and tools. This is sure to be both thought provoking and relevant to hands-on testers as well as those managing testing efforts.
Join us for this free event to learn and/or contribute to the discussion, and be better prepared for the changes ahead! Pizza provided (also free!) for attendees. We look forward to hopefully seeing you there!
