Beltane Festival
Details
IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ!!!
You must RSVP so we know how many will join us. If you bring a guest, please remind them to bring food, drink and candle too.
This gathering is open to the public. You don’t need to be Alexandrian or initiated to attend.. just come with respect, warmth and something from your heart.
We are The Southern Temple of Mother Isis, a group of Alexandrian Traditional Witches based here on Gadigal land, Sydney.
Join us for the Grand Sabbat of Beltane, a celebration of the passionate and sacred union of God and Goddess.
After the circle is released, you are warmly invited to stay and mingle. This is an opportunity to meet fellow practitioners of the Craft, dedicants, priest and priestesses. There will be spaces for quiet conversation, and optional divination including tarot readings and other forms of insight.
Please wear comfortable shoes as we will dance to raise energy to heal the planet.
What to Bring:
Bring colourful flowers to decorate the space
A dish of food from your own hands and heart (home-cooked or lovingly prepared)
Your own drink (we do not supply drinks)
A torch or lantern – the park is very dark after 7pm
Warm layers, and a rug or cushion to sit on
This is a free gathering, offered from our time, craft, and personal resources. Please respect the spirit of the event by bringing something meaningful in exchange.
RSVP is essential. If you are bringing guests, make sure they also understand what to bring and how to participate respectfully.
Meeting Point & Admission:
Please arrive at the Sydney Park Kiosk by 6pm.
A member of our Temple will meet you there and guide you in. We begin on time, and latecomers may not be admitted once the ritual begins. If no one is present when you arrive, please wait at the kiosk patiently until you are received.
With warmth and reverence,
The Southern Temple of Mother Isis
