SILVES TO ESTOMBAR +PICNIC

EASY Super varied walk. Walking time is 2.5 hours.
NB. Starting and end times !
NB. Christel will pick up your picnic goodies at the start and drive them to the halfway stop and return them to finish. Bring along a little something to share - homemade or bought, doesn't matter. And something to drink, maybe? ;-).

Great walk and day out. Unusual linear walk from Silves station on high ground overlooking town, following course of Arade river on eastern side to the Park of Springs were we stop for refreshments,(bring yr own) and then on to Estombar station. We catch the train back one stop to Silves. The conductor might not get to you, but have a couple of Euros change ready.
Return time at Silves station 14.05

From motorway junction 6 , N124-1 to Silves. After going through tunnel, exit right to Station. Plenty of parking

As this is a voluntary association, you walk entirely at your own risk.
You need to be reasonably fit to walk ( not stroll) and have sensible walking shoes. + bring water.
