Guided 3 hour loop on high ground/forest with refreshment stop (byo) at viewpoint.
Shinrin-Yoku: Japanese concept of “forest bathing” . Forest walking is even more beneficial for body/mind , research seems to be suggesting.
Restaurant Sol da Serra start/finish on main road in Marmelete opposite BP station meeting point - also recommended for lunch.

Only 35 minutes from Lagos. Head towards Barragem Bravura (reservoir)from Odiaxere . At last cross road before hill up to dam, exit to your left signed Aljezur/Marmelete

From Portimao proceed towards Monchique. Few Kms before town exit left signed Casais/Marmelete

Bring refreshments. You must be fit to walk ( not stroll) for 3 hours.
