This is the official Kick-off Meet-up for Battle of the Bots - a high-stakes, real-market trading competition happening this September, hosted by BitMEX and ProfitView with support from industry partners.
In the Battle of the Bots, automated trading Bots will be deployed competitively by hundreds of Traders seeking PnL, prizes - and a lot of fun.
Before the bots go head-to-head, we need teams to build them - and that’s where you come in.

What’s Happening at the Kick-off
This event is your gateway to:
- Meeting teammates and forming a bot-building squad
- Learning the competition format, tech stack, and rules
- Seeing how to build BitMEX trading bots with ProfitView
- Talking directly to sponsors, mentors, and organisers
- Eating pizza, drinking beer (thanks BitMEX!), and joining a serious algo crowd
We’ll also help with team matchmaking based on your strengths - whether you're a Python coder, quant researcher, or strategy wizard.
Why Compete?
If your team is selected for the Main Event in September:
- 🔧 You’ll have 6 hours coding to fine-tune your bots in a final sprint before the Battle begins
