Mini Investor Pitch
The objective is to give Startups practice in how to communicate ideas focussed on a clear strategy and a roadmap to profitability, so they are attractive to investors. Each Startup that wants to pitch pays €10 into 'a pot'. The Startup with the most votes wins all the money in the pot!

Price to Join the Event

• €5 per person (cash only)

Rules

• On top of the event cost of €5, startups wishing to pitch their idea must also put €10 in 'the pot'.
• Investors can also invest €10 in the pot and can vote for which startup idea they consider the best. Investors are understood to be experts in business / product development, innovation and strategy. The most convincing Investors will be invited to a future 'Shark Tank' event.
• Startups will have 60 seconds (each) to explain their idea, focussing on their competitive advantage and how they plan to make money.
• Startups and Investors will then 'vote' for the best idea using Monopoly money.
• The Startup with the most Monopoly money wins the whole pot of real money!

Observers
If you are not a Startup or an Investor, you can participate as an Observer (you pay only the entry price of €5 but you cannot vote).

Example

• There are 7 Startups and 5 Investors, each paying €10 and giving us a pot of €120. The Startup with the most 'votes' wins €120 in cash, paid immediately during this event.
• The winning Startup will also be granted 5 minutes to explain their idea to the room and take questions / advice from the Investors. The most convincing Startups will be invited to participate (for free) in the 'Shark Tank' event.

Networking
This will be followed by our normal Networking session.
