Alienation Glasgow meetup

First meeting for this group.

This is an initial meeting to get the ball rolling. Happy to discuss alternative times to meet if Monday evenings are not suitable. Same for the venue. But we have to start somewhere.

Everyone welcome. No agenda, just a meeting with the like-minded as per the blurb.

What is this?

A social meet for anyone affected by isolation, loneliness, remote working, unwanted solitude or a sense of alienation from the way society has changed in recent times.

The goal is to meet others in a safe social setting.

A word on social anxiety

Do you suffer from social anxiety? Many do, including the organiser. So you are in good company.

You may be tempted to sign up for an event then cancel. Or maybe not sign up at all. Maybe you will talk yourself out of going. We've all done it.

I do hope you will have the courage to sign up and come along. Feel free to message me on here and we can talk. I often show up to events before the kickoff, so that may be a way to test the waters if you are nervous.
