Tinderbox, Ingram Street, Glasgow: 6-7:30pm

I usually have a paper sign with ALIENATION GLASGOW on it. Typically sit at one of the large tables on the ground floor, but it varies depending on available seating.

Everyone welcome. No agenda, just a meeting with the like-minded as per the blurb.

What is this?
A social meet for anyone affected by isolation, loneliness, remote working, unwanted solitude or a sense of alienation from the way society has changed in recent times.
The goal is to meet others in a safe social setting.

Who this is for
Anyone who feels a bit lost in modern life or overwhelmed at times.

Perhaps you feel alone or isolated. Maybe the world around you seems strange or remote or threatening. This can trigger feelings of depression or despair, which can be exacerbated by solitude.

Social anxiety
If you suffer from social anxiety and find attending these kinds of events daunting, don't worry, you are not alone.

You can message the host before the event here on Meetup.com. Go to the host's profile and message from there. On the night he will be monitoring the app for anyone messaging. Although the app is often slow and unreliable.
