Meet to walk the trails, walk through the nature center and bask in the sun on the beach. Bring a snack or picnic lunch.

A daily admission fee is required to enter the park. An annual South Carolina State Park Passport is available for purchase, which provides unlimited entry to all 47 state parks.

• Children (age 5 and under): Free
Activities and Things to Do
• Beach Access: Enjoy one mile of undeveloped, less crowded beachfront for swimming, sunbathing, shelling, and walking.
• Fishing Pier: The park features a 700-foot fishing pier, perfect for catching various saltwater species without needing a fishing license (a separate daily or annual pier fishing fee applies).
• Maritime Forest Trails: Explore the unique coastal ecosystem through two nature trails that wind through forests of live oaks, magnolias, and hollies.
• Nature Center: Visit the nature center to see live animals, interactive natural history displays, and saltwater aquariums.
